The adoption fee for dogs and puppies is $100 and includes spay or neuter and rabies vaccination. All pets are altered prior to or at the time of adoption. All dogs are up to date on vaccinations and are on monthly heartworm preventative. Depending on their age and their length of stay at ARF, they may need additional shots after adoption. Please read the adoption rules and more details about the testing of pets.  Adopters sign a legal contract agreeing to provide proper care of their new pet and to abide by animal control laws.

Molly is a smart dog, but with the attention span of a snap of a finger. She's quickly learned how to sit and shake. She gets along with dogs big and small. She was an 8 week old freebie Wal-mart parking lot puppy who was "rescued" and brought to us. She was immediately adopted but was later returned as "too much to handle." Her behavior has improved with attention and training at ARF.
